From lumps and bumps to cuts and scrapes to vomiting and diarrhea, we can help assess your furry family member’s issues and create a plan of action to help diagnose or solve the problem. We understand that everyone’s financial situation may be vastly different and while we will offer the top standard options to you, do not hesitate in voicing any concerns or questions about the plan we develop; we truly value your input in the care of your pet and we will help guide and educate you on the decisions ahead.

Drop-off examinations

Life can be hectic and often things like to go wrong all at once. When one of those things is your pet’s health, as a member of our family, we’ve got your back. For current patients (those that we have seen within the past year), we offer drop off appointments for both wellness and illness care to help make your life easier.

As with all procedures and treatments, we will develop an estimate for your approval, which we can email directly to you. Communication can be by phone, text, or email throughout, however, we ask that in the event you have an ill pet in our care that you do your utmost to be available by whatever modality you choose to communicate with us.

Allergy management

Allergies are one of the most common issues we see in pets in Oklahoma. The most typical presentations for these pets include: chronic licking of feet, scratching ears or shaking head, chronic skin or ear infections. Many of these patients have allergies to common household or environmental allergens that may be avoided or treated with a variety of medications.

Some allergy patients may have food sensitivities in addition to or instead of environmental allergens. Food sensitivities present in many different ways, though the most common are skin issues (itching of face, ears) or gastrointestinal upset. A common misconception in food sensitivities is that it is grain or “poor quality” foods that can cause these issues, when in fact it is most common for a protein source to be the culprit.

Regardless of the cause of your itchy pet, we have many different options at our disposal to help plan the attack against the allergens! Whether you want to get to the root of the cause with allergy testing or you just need some relief from the licking keeping you up at night, we’ve got an arsenal of options to help stop the scratch.
