Meet Our Team

Dr. Sarah Begemann – Dr. Sarah is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and was born and raised right here in OKC! She is a self-proclaimed corgi addict and has both a Pembroke and Cardigan Welsh corgi at home. Marty, her Pembroke, is our official clinic mascot and makes appearances in many of our Instagram and Facebook posts being an incredibly handsome and silly model for us! Dr. Sarah has a particular passion for epilepsy patients as Marty suffers from this disease and she personally understands the severe emotional toll this can take on many owners! Other than epilepsy, Clinical Pathology (studying blood and cells of the body), wound management, and Internal Medicine are particular special interests Dr. Begemann enjoys. Outside of the office, she loves spending time gaming with her husband, baking, and exploring unique food and drink locations around town!

Brittani, Registered Veterinary Technician – The first thing you’ll notice about Brittani is her love of the color pink – she’s our bright and cheerful tech with the pink hair! Brittani is a graduate of OSU-OKC’s RVT program and as an integral member of our nursing staff, Brittani particularly enjoys assisting in management of behavioral disorders and dental care. Brittani has a goofy Pomeranian named Dakota and a shy lab mix named Bella. Bella’s shy and fearful nature in the past have been a great inspiration to Brittani in her interest in behavior modification and becoming Fear Free certified to help decrease stress and anxiety for pets and their owners. Outside of her work at Okoboji, you’ll find Brittani training pets through her own business, watching anything Marvel related and working on her calligraphy or crochet projects!
